Updating Note Templates

Note templates let you quickly apply standardized notes to events, saving time and ensuring consistency across your team.



  1.  Open an Event Containing the Template
    •  From your Events dashboard, select an event that already uses the note template you’d like to update.
  2.  Locate the Existing Notes
    •  Scroll to the Notes section of the event.
    •  You’ll see all notes currently attached to this event, including any that were added from templates.
  3.  Edit the Note
    •  Click Edit on the note you want to update.
    •  Make your changes (e.g., update text, formatting, or content).
    •  Click Save.
  4.  Save Changes to the Template
    • After saving, choose Update Template.
    • This ensures that your changes apply not only to this event but also to the underlying note template.
    • You’ll see confirmation like “Note Template Updated.”
  5. Verify the Update
    • Open another event that uses the same note template.
    • Reapply or refresh the template to confirm the changes have propagated.
    • You should now see the updated note content reflected in the new event.
Important Notes
  • Updating a note template will affect all future events that use that template.
  • Edits made directly in an event without selecting “Update Template” will not modify the template, they’ll only change the note for that single event.
