Ticket Refund Protection through Vertical Insure

Ticket Refund Protection is an optional add-on available during checkout, provided by Vertical Insure. It offers peace of mind by covering your ticket purchase in case unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending the event.

What Is Ticket Refund Protection?

Ticket Refund Protection provides a 100% refund for the cost of your tickets (including fees) if you're unable to attend the event due to unexpected situations such as:

  • Illness or injury

  • Transportation issues (e.g., car breakdowns, traffic accidents)

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Public health emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 outbreaks)

This protection is especially beneficial for events susceptible to weather-related cancellations or other unforeseen disruptions.


How Does It Work?

  • Optional at Checkout: During the ticket purchase process, you can choose to add Ticket Refund Protection.

  • Policy Confirmation: After purchase, you'll receive a confirmation email from Vertical Insure containing your policy details.

  • 10-Day Free Look Period: You have ten (10) days from receiving your policy to review it. During this time, you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund of your premium, provided the event hasn't started and no claims have been filed.

  • Policy Management: Manage your policy and view coverage details through the Vertical Insure Customer Portal.


Filing a Claim

If you need to request a refund through your Ticket Refund Protection:

  1. Locate Your Policy: Search your inbox (including spam/junk folders) for an email from Vertical Insure.

  2. Access the Customer Portal: Visit customers.verticalinsure.com and create an account using the email address associated with your ticket purchase.

  3. Submit a Claim: Use the portal to file a claim. Be prepared to provide supporting documentation, such as medical records or proof of the unforeseen event.

  4. Contact Support: For assistance, email support@verticalinsure.com.

Claims are typically acknowledged within 2 business days. The resolution time may vary based on the complexity of the claim and the documentation provided.
