Administrator 

The highest level of access. Administrators can do everything a Contributor can, plus manage team-wide settings and finances.

Everything a Contributor can do, plus:

Area Access
Team Settings Manage team details, ticketing settings, and account configuration
Team Members Invite, remove, and manage team member roles
Billing & Payments View and manage payment methods, billing details, and subscriptions
Financial Reports View cash summaries and profit & loss reports for events
Payouts & Transactions View payout history and balance transactions
Venues Manage venue ownership, rooms, and venue agreements
Integrations Configure Stripe Connect, Twilio (SMS), email domains, and other integrations
Permissions Create and manage custom permission sets
Custom Domains Set up custom domains for team pages

Owner is a special designation on top of Administrator that grants the ability to manage the team itself (e.g., rename or configure the team). There is typically one owner per team.


 

Contributor

Full operational access to day-to-day tools. Contributors can manage events, ticketing, marketing, CRM, and most business operations.

Everything a Viewer can do, plus:

Events Create, edit, and manage all events, holds, and event templates
Ticketing Create and manage ticket types, ticket groups, promo codes, add-ons, and general admission holds
Orders & Refunds Full order management and the ability to process refunds
CRM Create and manage contacts, organizations, tasks, and deals
Fans & Segments Create and manage fan segments, filters, and targeted audiences
Marketing Campaigns Create and manage email/SMS campaigns, broadcasts, and automation workflows
Messaging Send emails and SMS messages, manage templates and scheduled sends
Offers & Agreements Create and manage offers, offer templates, and rental invoices
Finance Create and manage income/expense line items, deposits, and finance categories
Settlements View and manage settlement reports, line items, and overrides
Files & Documents Upload and manage files, folders, and attachments
Notes Create and manage notes and note templates
Seating Manage seating charts, holds, and kills
Tours Create and manage tours, tour dates, and tour content
Tags Create and manage tags across the platform
Imports & Exports Import data via CSV and export reports

Viewer

A read-heavy role designed for team members who need to view information and process orders/check-ins, but not create or manage most content.

Fans View and search fan records

Artists & Venues Search and view artist and venue information, add new artists/venues
Tags View tags (read-only)
Tours View tour information (read-only)
Marketing View outreach activity (read-only)
Stripe Terminals Use card readers for in-person payments

Cannot access: Creating/editing events, managing campaigns or marketing, settlements, refunds, seating charts, team settings, or financial reports.


 

Promoter

A specialized role for external promoters who manage their own events. Access is scoped to events associated with the promoter's company.

Their Events View and edit events they are promoting
Holds Create holds and manage their own holds
Artists & Venues Search and add artists and venues
Companies Manage company records
Contacts & Fans View contacts and fan records
Event Files Manage attachments and folders for their events
Event Contacts Manage contacts linked to their events
Tags View tags (read-only)

Important: Promoters can only view and manage events where they are the assigned promoter. They cannot see other promoters' events.

Cannot access: Team settings, billing, marketing campaigns, settlements, financial reports, or team member management.


 

Guest

The most restricted role. Guests can only access specific events they have been explicitly invited to.

Area Access
Assigned Events View details for events they've been added to
Event Files Upload, download, and manage files for their assigned events
Show Activity View activity for their assigned events

Cannot access: Any events they haven't been added to, ticketing, orders, CRM, campaigns, settings, financial data, or any team-wide features.
