Creating and Managing Event Holds and Confirms
The process of creating, managing, and confirming a hold for an event
1. Start Creating an Event Hold 0:00

Click on the 'New Event' button to create a hold or confirm an event.

If you know the date, use the calendar to select it.
2. Add Event Details 0:08

Choose an event template or type in the artist's name to auto-fill the event name.

Select the venue (default is Hollywood Bowl) or change it by deleting and selecting a new one.
3. Select Promoter and Buyer 1:12

Choose a promoter from the drop-down list. If not listed, type the promoter's name and click 'Add'.

Do the same for the buyer if necessary.
4. Define Event Type and Genre 1:20

Event type defaults to 'Concert'; change it if needed.

Select if it's a room rental by checking the box, which adds a rental tag for reporting.
5. Schedule Holds 2:00

Click on the dates for holds. Use Shift-click to select multiple dates.

Exclude dates with existing confirms; unavailable dates will be shown.
6. Set Target Date and Ticket Forecast 3:20

Optionally set a target date for booking.

Enter a ticket forecast (e.g., number of tickets expected to sell).
7. Create the Hold 4:02

Click to create the hold and wait for the event details page to load.
8. Review Event Details 4:10

Check the event name, holds, venue, and other details.

Edit any details as necessary.
9. Confirm the Event 5:07

Click to confirm the event, select the confirmation date, and set start and end times.

Clear irrelevant holds for the confirmation date.
10. View Confirmed Event 5:53

After confirmation, review the event details page for the confirmed event.

Check the calendar to see the new confirmed event and cleared holds.
