How to Add and Enable a Custom Age Restriction


1. Open the Age Restrictions settings 0:00

  • In your OpenDate account, go to Settings.
  • Open Offers.
  • Scroll down to the Age Restrictions section.

2. Add your custom age restriction 0:19

  • Type your new age restriction into the field.
  • Click Add.
  • Confirm that the new restriction appears in the list.
  • If needed, drag and drop it to place it in numerical order.

3. Enable the restriction for a venue 0:31

  • In the venue columns, find the venue you want to update.
  • Click the venue once to enable the age restriction.
  • Click it a second time to set it as the venue default.
  • Click it a third time to disable it if needed.

4. Save your changes 0:49

  • After enabling the restriction, click Save.
  • This applies the custom age restriction to the selected venue.

5. Verify it appears on an event 1:11

  • Open an event for that venue.
  • Go to Edit Details.
  • You should now see the custom age restriction listed.
